You will need your Provisional Driving Licence. I will need to see it on your first lesson. If you have not yet applied for it, it should take 2-4 weeks to arrive, and the current cost is £34. Keep it safe because you will also need it for both the theory and practical Driving Tests. You will also need to be able to read a car number plate at 20.5 meters. If you need glasses / contacts to read this number plate, you will need to wear then whenever you drive.

Not at all. Infact we can work on your theory test whilst learning to drive.

I also use an App you can download for free. This will show you your progress record, lesson planner and reminder. It also has a theory test section, with all the official questions. You can take full mock tests, or quick 10 question tests. As many times as you want.

There is no maximum age you can take your test.

Anyone can learn to drive, it is never too late. I have taught people to drive who are in their there 60's.

My current car is a Renault Clio, which is fitted with Duel Controls for safety.

We can do lessons in your own car, however until a certain level of experiance has been attained, I would strongly reccomend my car.

I can pick you up from any location with prior arrangement, and you can be dropped off at a different location if required.

So if you wanted picking up from School/ College or Work, and dropped off at home, this is not a problem.

All I ask is I am given some notice as it may affect my next lesson.

You will take your test in my car, unless you have been taking lessons in your own car and would like to take your test in that one.

(You don't need a car with duel controls to take your test.)

The Driving Test is carried out by a Driving Test Examiner. The examiner will go with you and sit in the front.

On rare occasions a second examiner may also go along on the test. However, this examiner is actually watching your examiner taking the test, not you!

You have the option to invite myself along on the test. this is totally up to you. If you would like me there, I will sit in the back, I must keep still and not speak. The advantage to me coming along, is, if something did go wrong during the test, I would see it, so we could work on the problem later.

This is a really tough question to answer.

The DVSA Statistics say the average pupil takes 47 hours of profesional lessons and 20 hours of private practice.

The actual lessons students take depends very much on the individual. Some people take to is very quickly, some take longer.
